With howling winds in the forecast for the entire day twenty five teams braved the harsh conditions to have their chance to claim the top prize for the day. The registration was off to an early start as the first members began rolling in at the crack of dawn to grab a good parking spot and get their tackle in order.

First place went to the team of Roger Marek and Aaron Marek weighing in a nice five fish limit that included the Big Bass of the tournament as well as Big Bass Honors so far this season that weighed a staggering 10.43 pounds. Their total limit weighed 18.69 pounds. They reported catching the Big bass on a vibrating jig.

Second place honors was snatched up by the team of Matt Byrd and Shawn Callahan. Their five fish limit were the only five fish they caught all day but proved to be the right five fish. Their bag weighed in at 15.25 pounds and they reported that the majority of their limit was caught on a spinnerbait.

Third place went to the team of Brian Cole and Bill Groseclose, whom narrowly missed second place by mere ounces and reported losing a giant right at the boat, which might have given them the win and definitely would of gave them second place. Their five fish limit weighed a solid 15.10 pounds securing them a third place finish.

Honorable mention to Matt Hinman for catching a Lake Kissimmee stud of a bass weighing 8.47 pounds. That would normally bring home big bass honors if it weren't for Aaron's monster ten pounder. Good job Fella's!
