The flipped then delayed Blue Cypress tournament produced some stout numbers with high waters, high winds and club records.  Twelve teams showed up in the breezy dark hours at Middleton’s Fish Camp to the seventh SCBF tournament of the season. The takeoff from the lake at 6:37 safe light had 4+ teams stay behind and fish the canals, 4+ teams head up to M-Canal & Zig Zag Canal and the other 4 teams to fish the lake. Dwayne Haga had big bass, 5.84 lbs.  He had close competition with five other 5 lbs. plus fish brought to the scales. The rainy days leading up to the tournament added additional height to the St. Johns Water System.  Strike Zone gift cards won by Craig Mira & Craig Eisenheimer, thank you Stike Zone for the club support. Swing down there and pick up some baits before Harris Chain tournament in a few weeks.

Topwater bites on canal edges and flipping weighted Senko style worms on structure edges got the bites.

Weather conditions:

Wind 14 mph East

Water temp 76 F

Sunny / Overcast Spotty
