While everybody was preparing for the holidays the club met a couple weeks early to avoid interfering with people's plans. It was a beautiful day on the lake and plenty of fish caught with a total of twenty two limits out of twenty three participating teams.

First place went to the team of Greg Clark and alternate Santos Solis Jr. with a solid bag weighing 17.50 pounds. Their bag was anchored with a hefty Largemouth weighing 5.21 pounds and falling just shy of Big Bass Honors.

Fishing by himself and coming in second place Larry Cruce shows us again that the second man on the net isn't always needed. His bag weighed an even 17.00 pounds after receiving a one dead fish penalty which would have place him in a tie for first place proving that keeping your live wells in the best working condition can pay off in a big way or cost you the possible win. His bag included Big Bass of the day weighing 5.53 pounds.

Coming in third place was the team of Dwayne Haga and Dave Metzler bringing in a decent limit of Largemouth Bass weighing a total of 16.93 pounds falling just shy of second by less than a pound.

Falling right behind third place was the team of Fred Reid and Jimmy Haggerty weighing in at 16.59 pounds and scoring them a nice fifty dollar gift certificate to our wonderful sponsor Strike Zone Fishing in Melbourne please show your thanks by stopping in for some tackle and supplies and be sure to say thanks.

The next tournament will be at Lake Kissimmee and we will be launching at the Joe Overstreet ramp. See you out there!
