This year was the first time the Space Coast Bass Finatics added Three Forks Marsh to their annual roster. Twenty two teams managed to squeeze into the basin by the boat ramp before carefully taking off. Everyone did a great job of safely navigating the tight waters without any incident. With many different places to fish in the marsh it seems that Sattori ended up being the place to be. The teams who were brave enough to navigate the treacherous trail south towards Sattori through the trees faired the best resulting in four of the top five finishes.

The Team of Matt Byrd and alternate Shawn Callahan finished in first with their bag weighing in at 17.13 pounds. That included a nice little fatty weighing 5.43 pounds which was their first fish in the livewell to start off a great day fishing. They reported that using speed worms and flukes was the key to their success.

Coming in second place was the team of Bill Groseclose and Zack Malone. Their bag weighed a hefty 15.95 pounds and included a solid one weighing 5.71 pounds.

Rounding off the top three spots and coming in third place was the team of Brian Cole and Erick Pickton. Their nice looking limit weighed in at 15.65 pounds and just barely missed out on second place.

Big Bass honors went to the team Dave Tripp and Robert Kimbrough who also finished in fourth place with a bag weighing 14.27 pounds and Big Bass went for a hefty 7.21 pounds.

The next tournament will be at Miami Garcia. Hope to see everyone there.
